This Service Agreement(protocolOrService Agreement)This includes terms and conditions for managing your access and use of the websites and services we provide (as defined below), and is an agreement between us and you or the entities you represent. Before using this website or service, please carefully read this Service Agreement. By using this website, or by clicking on a button or checkbox to accept or agree to the service terms of this Service Agreement (if applicable), or by filling out a service order, or, if earlier, by using or otherwise accessing the service(effective date)You (1) accept and agree to this Service Agreement and any additional terms, rules, and participation conditions we may publish from time to time, and (2) agree to the activities of collecting, using, disclosing, and processing information as described in our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Service Agreement, you are not allowed to access or use the service.
We would like to remind you to use our Hippo Social mobile application (hereinafter referred to as "Hippo Social")Hippo SocialOrThis softwareBefore downloading Hippo Social on various mobile application platforms, including but not limited to Google Play Store and Apple App Store, please carefully read this Service Agreement and other documents mentioned in this Service Agreement, especially the "Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability" clauses in this Service Agreement, to ensure that you fully understand the terms of this Service Agreement and consider the risks of using Hippo Social independently.

1Confirmation and Acceptance of this Service Agreement

1.You understand that this Service Agreement and related agreements apply to Hippo Social and our self-developed and owned decentralized applications (referred to as "DApps") on Hippo Social (excluding third-party developed DApps).

2.By downloading Hippo Social software and creating an identity, restoring an identity (as defined below), or importing a wallet, you shall be deemed to have fully read and accepted all the terms of this Service Agreement, which shall come into effect immediately and be binding on both parties.If you do not agree with the terms of this Service Agreement, you must immediately stop using Hippo Social. If you have already downloaded Hippo Social, please delete it now.

3.When accessing or using Hippo Social, you agree to:

(1)Accept the latest version of this Service Agreement as binding (without change or modification);
-
(2)In the jurisdiction where you apply, you have reached the legal age to use Hippo Social and are eligible to assume any binding legal or monetary obligations arising from the use of Hippo Social; And
-
(3)You are not an excluded person (as defined below).

4.This Service Agreement can be updated by us at any time. Once the modified Service Agreement is published on our website, it will automatically take effect without further notice. If you do not accept the modified terms after we announce the revised agreement, please immediately stop using Hippo Social.

5.Please be aware that by using Hippo Social after making any such modifications to these Terms of Service, you acknowledge your acceptance of these modified Terms of Service.

IIdefinition
-
1.ChinaRefers to the People's Republic of China, including (1) the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, (2) the Macao Special Administrative Region, and (3) Taiwan.

2.Hippo SocialRefers to the multi currency digital wallet developed by us based on distributed ledger technology, including other auxiliary tools developed to facilitate your use of blockchain systems.

3.Excluded individuals:
-
(1)Individuals other than natural persons who possess the legal and conscious ability to enter into this Service Agreement; or
-
(2)Any person who is prohibited, restricted, unauthorized, or ineligible to use the Services (as defined in this Service Agreement) in any form or manner (in whole or in part) due to this Service Agreement, legal, regulatory requirements, or provisions of the jurisdiction applicable to the user.

(3)For the avoidance of doubt, residents residing within China and/or users residing within China are also included in the definition of "excluded persons".
We do not provide services to excluded individuals. If you are an excluded person, please stop using our services immediately. If you continue to use our services, you acknowledge and agree that you will assume all corresponding responsibilities in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations, and provisions of your jurisdiction of residence, and you shall indemnify us from any liability arising from your use of such services, including but not limited to losses, third-party claims or administrative penalties caused to us by such violations, breaches, or violations, as well as reasonable legal and administrative costs, expenses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney fees.

4.identityRefers to the digital identification identity generated based on your public and private key pairs.

5.Beginner's Guide: Refers to the Hippo Social operation guide we provide to you before (and in the future) using Hippo Social to help you understand the basics of blockchain.

6.Create or import a wallet: Refers to the process of creating or importing a wallet using Hippo Social after you have accepted this Service Agreement.
-
7.Wallet password: Refers to the password you decide during the process of creating a Hippo Social wallet, which will be used to encrypt and protect your private key. Hippo Social, as a decentralized application, does not store wallet passwords on your mobile device or our server. Once you lose or forget your wallet password, you will need to use a private key or mnemonic to reset it.

8.Information promptThe information prompts involved in the Hippo Social software operation interface suggest that you follow the relevant steps for operation.

9.Specific UsersUsers who are required to comply with our personal information disclosure obligations in accordance with the laws, regulations, and policies of Singapore and other countries.

10.Developer UsersRefers to users who use Hippo Social open-source code and developer mode services provided to developers in accordance with our notification and relevant open-source agreements.
-
11.Private keyComposed of 256 random characters, it is the core of digital tokens owned and used by users.
-
12.Public keyGenerate a blockchain digital wallet address through one-way derivation using cryptographic principles using a private key, which is the public payment address.
-
13.Mnemonic wordsCompliant with the industry standard of blockchain BIP39, consisting of 12 (or 15/18/21/24) ordered words generated by random algorithms. It is an easy to record representation of a private key, making it convenient for you to backup and store.

14.Keystore: It is a file format in which the private key or mnemonic is encrypted and saved with the wallet password you set. It is only stored on your mobile device and will not be synchronized to our server.
-
15.Digital tokens: Refers to the types of digital tokens currently supported by Hippo Social, including but not limited to BTC, ETH, etc.
-
16.dataRefers to articles and other materials in the "browsing" and "marketing" sections of Hippo Social, all of which are owned by third parties and cannot be reproduced without authorization. These materials are for your reference only and do not constitute our guidance or advice on your transactions.

17.Message CenterRefers to the inbox where you can receive messages or notifications we send.

18.personal information: Refers to various information recorded electronically or in other ways that can individually or in combination with other information identify the user's personal identity, including but not limited to personal biometric information, email address, wallet address, mobile device information, operation records, transaction records, etc., but does not include the user's wallet password, private key, mnemonic words, Keystore.

19.Smart contracts: Refers to an Ethereum based intelligent contract aimed at disseminating, validating, or executing contracts in an information-based manner, including but not limited to smart contracts mentioned later.
-
20.WETH: Refers to the tokenization of Ether, as Ether does not meet its own ERC20 standards. Packaging Ether tokenization facilitates direct transactions between Ether and other tokens. The exchange rate between the tokens supported by Hippo Social and WETH is determined by third-party smart contracts.

21.ETH: Refers to Ethereum, which is an encrypted digital token related to the Ethereum blockchain. To avoid doubt, it does not include "Ethereum Classic".

22.Hippo Social Open Source Code ("Hippo Social OSC"): Refers to the part of Hippo Social software code that we publicly announce as open source, allowing developers and users to use (including secondary development) this part of the open source code in accordance with relevant open source agreements and our notified regulations.

23.Open source protocolRefers to the third-party open source protocol that developers and users should follow when using Hippo Social open source code.
-
24.Third party servicesRefers to products and services provided by third parties such as third-party DApps, third-party smart contracts, third-party open source protocols, third-party hardware wallets, third-party web pages, and third-party exchanges.

IIIHippo Social Services (collectively referred to as "Services")
-
1.Creating and restoring identities. You can use the "Create Identity" and "Restore Identity" buttons provided by Hippo Social to create and restore identities, and manage multi chain wallets simultaneously under one identity.
-
2.Import Wallet. For the digital tokens supported by Hippo Social, you can use Hippo Social to generate new wallets or import compatible wallets generated by other wallet tools in the relevant blockchain system.
-
3.Transfer and receipt of funds. You can use Hippo Social's transfer and receipt functions to manage digital tokens, that is, use a private key for electronic signature, and modify the relevant blockchain ledger. Transfer refers to the payment party using the recipient's ENS domain name or blockchain address to transfer funds, which involves the effective recording of the transaction in the distributed ledger of the relevant blockchain system (rather than the actual delivery or transfer of digital tokens on Hippo Social).

4.Market view. You can use Hippo Social to view the exchange rate prices of digital tokens provided by third parties. Hippo Social captures the corresponding digital token exchange rate information and displays it in the "Market" section of Hippo Social.

5.Manage digital tokens. You can add, store, or remove digital tokens supported by Hippo Social (except ETH and BTC) from the Hippo Social interface.
-
6.Currency Exchange (DEX). You can exchange digital tokens with third parties using third-party smart contracts, and Hippo Social serves as an interface tool to help you interact with third-party smart contracts and display the corresponding results of the digital token exchange.
-
7.Explore DApp. You access and use the services provided by this DApp (including our own DApp and third-party DApp) through Hippo Social.
-
8.Search DApp. You can search for DApps that have been listed on Hippo Social through the search box on Hippo Social.
-
9.Integrated hardware wallet. You can match the appropriate version of Hippo Social with a specific hardware wallet and use the hardware wallet to confirm transactions made through Hippo Social.
-
10.Non confidential payment. You can use the secure payment function in Hippo Social to store the user's wallet password in the Keychain/Keystore of your mobile device through secure encryption algorithms. During transactions, your biometric (fingerprint or facial) authentication is called to quickly complete payment and signature.
-
11.Developer mode. For the convenience of developer users, in developer mode, they can access any other website and third-party DApps that are not integrated with Hippo Social by typing the URL in the search box.
-
12.Transaction records. We will copy all or part of your transaction records through the blockchain system. But you should refer to the latest transaction records of the blockchain system.
-
13.Suspend service. You are aware that based on the "irrevocable" nature of transactions in the blockchain system, we cannot withdraw or revoke transaction operations for you. However, in certain circumstances, we can suspend or restrict a user's operation of Hippo Social software.

14.Other services that we believe are necessary.

When using Hippo Social, users understand and accept:
-
1.Adhering to the decentralized characteristics of blockchain and in order to protect the security of your digital tokens, we provide decentralized services that are significantly different from banking and financial institutions. You understand and accept that weNot responsible forThe following responsibilities:
-
(1)Store your wallet password (i.e. the password you set when creating/importing the wallet), private key, mnemonic, or Keystore;
-
(2)Retrieve your wallet password, private key, mnemonic, or Keystore;
-
(3)Freeze wallet;
-
(4)Report lost wallet;
-
(5)Restore wallet; or
-
(6)Transaction rollback.
-
2.You shall bear the responsibility of storing mobile devices containing Hippo Social, backing up Hippo Social, backing up wallet passwords, mnemonics, private keys, and Keystore on your own. If you lose your mobile device, delete without backing up Hippo Social, delete without backing up your wallet, have your wallet stolen or forgotten your wallet password, private key, mnemonic or Keystore, we will not be able to restore your wallet or retrieve your wallet password, private key, mnemonic or Keystore; If users make mistakes during transactions (such as entering the wrong transfer address or exchange amount), we cannot cancel the transaction and we should not be held responsible for it.

3.If you use Hippo Social's password free payment function, please backup your wallet password properly. After multiple failed verifications of your fingerprint or facial recognition, you will need to enter your wallet password. If you forget your wallet password, you need to set a new wallet password by importing mnemonics/private keys. We do not store your biometric information such as fingerprints or facial recognition, and we do not assume any responsibility for this.

4.The digital token management services that Hippo Social can provide do not include all existing digital tokens. Please do not operate any digital tokens that Hippo Social does not support through Hippo Social.

5.The integrated DApps on Hippo Social include our own DApps and DApps provided by third-party platforms. For DApps provided by third-party platforms, Hippo Social only provides search and blockchain browser functions for users entering DApps, and does not provide any guarantee for the functionality or service quality of third-party DApps. Before accepting services or conducting transactions on a third-party DApp, you should make your own judgment and evaluation of whether the services or transactions provided by the third-party DApp are risky.

6.The essence of the coin exchange function provided on Hippo Social is the digital token exchange you use on a blockchain system using third-party smart contracts. For the services provided by third-party smart contracts, Hippo Social only provides you with tools to interact with third-party smart contracts, and does not provide any guarantee for the functionality or service quality of third-party smart contracts. Before accepting services or conducting transactions on this third-party smart contract, you should make your own judgment and evaluation of whether the services or transactions provided by the third-party smart contract are risky. We strongly recommend that you read the constantly updated user agreements and/or disclaimers related to smart contracts. We reserve the right to immediately terminate or suspend access to these third-party services for any reason without prior notice or liability.

7.The hardware wallet integrated on Hippo Social is provided by a third party, and Hippo Social does not provide any warranty on the functionality or service quality of third-party hardware wallets. Hippo Social does not guarantee the matching function with any type and version of hardware wallets (please refer to our notifications from time to time for details). Before using a third-party hardware wallet, users should make their own judgment and evaluation to determine if there are any risks associated with the hardware wallet. You should carefully read and agree to the continuously updated usage license agreement and other documents related to the hardware wallet.

8.If you use developer mode on Hippo Social to access other websites or third-party DApps that are not integrated with Hippo Social by entering a URL, you are aware and agree that you are aware of the potential security risks associated with the URL linked website and third-party DApps, and independently assume all risks and consequences.

4Your rights and obligations
-
(1)Create or import a wallet
-
1.Create or import a wallet. You have the right to create and/or import wallets on your mobile device through Hippo Social, set wallet passwords and other information, and use your own wallet to transfer and receive payments on the blockchain through the Hippo Social application.
-
2.Identity verification. According to the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, when using the relevant services provided by Hippo Social, specific users should complete the relevant identity verification in a timely manner according to the tips of Hippo Social, and require you to submit personal information, including but not limited to your name, ID card number, mobile phone number, bank card number and other information. Otherwise, the specific user will not be able to use the relevant services, and any losses caused by the delay of the specific user will be borne by you.

3.We may develop different software versions for different terminal devices, and you should choose to download the appropriate version for installation according to your actual needs.If you have not obtained this software or an installation program with the same name as this software from a legally authorized third party, we cannot guarantee the normal use of the software or its security, and any losses caused will be borne by you.

4.After the new version of this software is released, the old version may not be usable. We do not guarantee the security, continued availability, or provision of corresponding customer service for older versions of software. Please check and download the latest version at any time.

(II)Using Hippo Social
-
1.You are responsible for the proper storage of mobile devices, wallet passwords, private keys, mnemonics, and Keystore information.We are not responsible for keeping the above information for you.You shall bear all risks, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from the loss of your mobile device or hardware wallet, active or passive leakage, forgetting wallet passwords, private keys, mnemonics, Keystore, or being attacked or defrauded by others.

2.Hippo Social information prompt. You understand and agree to follow the information prompts we publish on Hippo Social, and operate according to the content of the information prompts. Otherwise, all risks, liabilities, losses, expenses, etc. arising from this shall be borne by you.
-
3.You are aware and understand that Hippo Social is not obligated to perform due diligence on third-party services, and you should carefully evaluate and bear all risks related to the use of Hippo Social.
-
4.Provide information and documents. If we deem it necessary to obtain user related information in order to comply with any applicable laws or regulations related to the use or operation of Hippo Social, you shall provide us with such information in a timely manner as requested by us, and you understand and accept that we may restrict, suspend or terminate your use of Hippo Social until you provide information that meets our requirements. You promise to promptly inform us of any changes in the documents and information provided to us under this Service Agreement, and without written notice of any changes, we have the right to believe that the content of the documents and information provided by you is true, correct, not misleading, and has not changed.

5.Complete identity verification. When we reasonably believe that your trading behavior or situation is abnormal, or there are doubts about your identity information, or we believe that your identity documents or other necessary documents should be verified, please actively cooperate with us to verify your valid identity documents or other necessary documents and complete the relevant identity verification in a timely manner.

6.Transfer.
-
(1)You are aware that the daily transfer limit and number of transactions you can use in Hippo Social services may vary depending on the country/region you are using the transfer service, regulatory requirements, transfer purpose, Hippo Social risk control, identity verification, and other reasons.
-
(2)You understand the "irrevocable" attribute based on blockchain operations. When you use the Hippo Social transfer function, you should bear the consequences caused by your operational errors (including but not limited to entering the wrong transfer address or selecting the transfer node server).
-
(3)You are aware that the following situations may occur when using Hippo Social services, which may cause the transfer function to be unavailable, the transfer to "fail" or "package timeout":
-
A)Insufficient wallet balance;
-
B)Insufficient transaction miner fees;
-
C)Blockchain failed to execute smart contract code;
-
D)Exceeding the payment limit specified by regulatory authorities, Hippo Social, or laws and regulations;
-
E)Network, equipment and other technical failures;
-
F)Transactions are abandoned due to blockchain network congestion, failures, and other reasons;
-
G)Your address or counterparty address has been identified as a special address, such as a high-risk address.
-
(4)You are aware that Hippo Social only provides you with a transfer tool. After you use Hippo Social to complete the transfer, we have fulfilled all obligations for the current service. We do not assume any responsibility for any other related disputes or controversies.
-
7.Currency exchange. You are aware that the daily limit for coin exchange is currently limited by third-party smart contracts. We may also limit the daily amount of currency that you can exchange and adjust it from time to time.
-
8.Legal and compliant. You are aware that when operating on Hippo Social or using DApps and smart contracts on Hippo Social for transactions, you should comply with relevant laws, regulations, and national policies.
-
9.Announcement Notice. Hippo Social will send you notifications through website announcements, message center information, pop-up notifications, or client notifications, such as notifying you of transaction progress or prompting you to take relevant actions. Please pay attention to them in a timely manner.
-
10.Service fees and tax obligations:
-
(1)When you use Hippo Social's coin exchange service, third-party smart contracts will charge you a handling fee and/or service fee. The specific fee is based on the amount charged by the third-party smart contract. Hippo Social's information prompts are for reference only;
-
(2)We will not charge you any form of service fee or handling fee at the moment. In the future, when certain services need to be charged, we will separately agree or publish rules;
-
(3)When you use Hippo Social to transfer funds, you should pay a "miner's fee" or network fee, which is determined by you and collected by the relevant blockchain network;
-
(4)You are aware that in certain circumstances (including but not limited to insufficient "miner's fees" or network fees paid for the transfer during the transfer period, or unstable blockchain networks), your transfer operation may fail; In such cases, even if your transfer operation is not completed, you will still be charged miner fees by the relevant blockchain network;
-
(5)You are responsible for paying all taxable liabilities and other expenses incurred as a result of your transactions at Hippo Social.

(III)Developer users develop based on Hippo Social open-source code
-
1.Developers and users have the right to use the Hippo Social open-source code we have published on official channels for secondary development of applications, and to download and use any patches or vulnerability solutions we have released for Hippo Social open-source code.
-
2.When using Hippo Social open-source code, developers and users are aware and agree that:
-
(1)If developers and users discover any vulnerabilities, defects, or software improvement plans during the use of Hippo Social open-source code, they should promptly contact and inform us, and stop any harmful use behavior (if applicable);
-
(2)Hippo Social's open source code may contain third-party open source protocols and source code, and we do not provide any form of guarantee for the functionality, virus free, vulnerability free, etc. of such third-party open source protocols and source code. Developers and users should make their own judgments and evaluate the consequences of using Hippo Social open-source code. Developers and users should carefully read and follow relevant open-source software protocols (including but not limited to the Apache protocol) http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0.html )And the requirements of notifications we make from time to time.

VRisk statement

1.You are aware that due to the incomplete laws, regulations, and policies in the field of digital tokens, there may be significant risks such as inability to redeem and technological instability in this field. You also understand that the price fluctuations of digital tokens are much higher than other financial assets. We caution that you should choose to hold or dispose of any type of digital token in a reasonable manner based on your financial condition and risk preference. You also understand that the market view function provided by Hippo Social is only a search result that captures the exchange rate information of digital tokens on some exchanges, and does not represent the latest market or best quotation.

2.When using Hippo Social services, if you or your counterparties fail to comply with the operation prompts and rules in this Service Agreement or related website instructions, transactions, and payment pages, we do not guarantee that the transaction will be completed smoothly, and we do not assume any liability for damages. If the aforementioned situation occurs and the funds have already been credited to your or your counterparty's Hippo Social wallet or third-party wallet, you understand the "irreversible" nature of blockchain operations and the "irrevocable" nature of related transactions, and you and your counterparty shall bear the corresponding risks and consequences on their own.

3.You understand and acknowledge that coin exchange transactions occur, are conducted, and are completed on third-party smart contracts. Hippo Social serves only as an interface tool to assist you in interacting with third-party smart contracts and displaying the corresponding results of the completed transaction.
-
4.When using third-party services through Hippo Social, we strongly recommend that you carefully read the service agreement, privacy policy, and other relevant documents and information of such third-party services, understand the trading partners and product information, carefully evaluate the risks, and then proceed with transactions on such third-party services. You understand that this transaction and binding contractual relationship are established between you and your counterparty and are not related to us. We are not responsible for any risks, liabilities, losses, or expenses arising from your trading behavior.

5.When you transfer digital tokens to other wallet addresses, you should make your own judgment during the transaction process whether the other party is a person with full civil capacity and decide whether to trade with the other party or transfer funds to the other party.
-
6.During the transfer process, if there are abnormal information prompts such as "transaction failure" and "packaging timeout", you should confirm again through the official channels of the relevant blockchain system or other blockchain query tools to avoid duplicate transfers; Otherwise, all losses and expenses arising from this shall be borne by you.
-
7.You understand that when you create or import a wallet on Hippo Social, your Keystore, private key, mnemonic, and other information are only stored on the current mobile device and not on Hippo Social or our server. You can follow the instructions provided by Hippo Social to replace your mobile device by synchronizing your wallet or other methods. But if you do not save or backup wallet passwords, private keys, mnemonics, Keystore, and other information, and if your mobile device is lost, your digital token will be lost as a result, and we cannot retrieve it for you. If you leak information such as wallet passwords, private keys, mnemonics, Keystores, etc. while exporting, saving, or backing up, or if the device or server that saves or backs up the above information is attacked or controlled by hackers, your digital token will be lost and we cannot retrieve it for you. Any and all losses arising from the aforementioned circumstances shall be borne by you.

8.We suggest that you make a secure backup of your wallet's password, private key, mnemonic words, and Keystore when creating or importing a wallet. We kindly remind you not to use electronic backup methods such as screenshots, emails, the Notepad app on your phone, SMS, WeChat, QQ, etc. We suggest that you copy mnemonic words and Keystore information on a paper notebook, and you can also keep electronic data in a password manager.

9.We suggest that when purchasing a hardware wallet, you should:
-
(1)Confirm if the hardware wallet you purchased matches the Hippo Social version; and
-
(2)Choose a brand new hardware wallet from official channels.
-
10.We kindly remind you to use Hippo Social's confidential payment function with caution. We suggest that you:
-
(1)Carefully understand the security level of your mobile device's biometric recognition;
-
(2)Do not enable the password free payment function on public mobile phones; and
-
(3)If the digital assets in the wallet are large, please do not enable the password free payment function.
-
11.We recommend using Hippo Social in a secure network environment to ensure that your mobile device is not jailbroken or rooted, in order to avoid potential security risks.
-
12.Please be vigilant against fraudulent behavior when using Hippo Social. Once any suspicious behavior is detected, we encourage you to inform us as soon as possible.
-
VIChanges, interruptions, and terminations of services
-
1.You understand and agree that we may temporarily provide some service functions, or temporarily suspend some service functions or open new service functions in the future at our discretion. When we change our services, as long as you still use Hippo Social, it means that you still agree to this Service Agreement or the amended terms of this Service Agreement.
-
2.To minimize any mishandling of Hippo Social or any security risks associated with digital tokens, you should avoid using Hippo Social without prior knowledge of blockchain. We have the right to refuse to provide some or all service functions to users who do not have basic knowledge of blockchain.
-
3.You understand that we will suspend the provision of services (or completely terminate services in the following situations) when:
-
(1)Interruption of Hippo Social's operations due to technical reasons such as equipment, blockchain system maintenance, upgrades, malfunctions, and communication interruptions;
-
(2)Due to force majeure factors such as typhoons, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, power outages, wars, or terrorist attacks, computer viruses, trojans, hacker attacks, system instability, or government actions, we are unable to provide services or we reasonably believe that continuing to provide services will pose significant risks;
-
(3)Significant adverse changes in applicable laws or policies; or
-
(4)Other circumstances beyond our control or reasonable foresight occur.
-
4.When users encounter the following situations, we can unilaterally suspend or terminate your use of some or all of Hippo Social's features:

(1)User death;

(2)Stealing someone else's wallet information or mobile devices;

(3)Fill in false personal information on Hippo Social;
-
(4)Refuse Hippo Social's forced update operation;
-
(5)Using Hippo Social open-source code in violation of third-party open-source agreements or regulations notified by us;
-
(6)Using Hippo Social for illegal or criminal activities;
-
(7)Hindering other users from using Hippo Social normally;
-
(8)Counterfeiting our staff or management personnel;
-
(9)Attack, invade, alter, or in any other way threaten the normal operation of our computer system;
-
(10)Utilize Hippo Social to promote junk advertising;
-
(11)Spreading rumors that damage our and Hippo Social reputation; or
-
(12)Illegal behavior, other violations of this Service Agreement, and situations where we reasonably believe that the functionality should be suspended.
-
5.If we change, interrupt, or terminate the service, you have the right to export your wallet and other information within a reasonable time.
-
7Your representations and warranties
-
1.You shall comply with the laws and regulations of the country or region where you reside, and shall not use Hippo Social for any illegal purposes, nor shall you use Hippo Social in any illegal manner.

2.You are not an excluded person who is not eligible to use Hippo Social services.
-
3.You are not allowed to engage in any illegal or criminal activities using Hippo Social, including but not limited to:
-
(1)Harming the national security of the country or region where you reside, leaking state secrets, subverting state power, and undermining national unity;
-
(2)Engaging in any illegal or criminal activities, including but not limited to money laundering, illegal fundraising, etc;
-
(3)By using any automated program, software, engine, web crawler, web analytics tool, data mining tool, or similar tool to access our services, collect or process the content we provide, intervene or attempt to intervene with any user;
-
(4)Provide gambling information or induce others to participate in gambling in any way;
-
(5)Invading someone else's Hippo Social wallet to steal digital tokens;
-
(6)Engaging in transactions that do not match the claimed transaction content of the counterparty, or engaging in transactions that are untrue;
-
(7)Engaging in any behavior that infringes or may infringe upon Hippo Social service systems and data;
-
(8)Other behaviors that we have legitimate reasons to believe are inappropriate.

4.You understand and agree that you shall be responsible for any violations of relevant laws (including but not limited to customs and/or tax regulatory regulations) or the provisions of this Service Agreement, and shall compensate us for any losses, third-party claims or administrative penalties suffered by us as a result of such violations, breaches, or violations, including reasonable legal and administrative costs, expenses, and expenses, as well as reasonable attorney fees.

5.You promise to pay our service fees on time (if any), otherwise we have the right to suspend the services provided to you.

8Privacy Policy

9Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

1.We are only responsible for the obligations listed in this Service Agreement.

2.You understand and agree that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, we can only provide Hippo Social services based on existing technological levels and conditions. We are not responsible for Hippo Social's inability to provide services due to any of the following reasons:

(1)Hippo Social system shutdown maintenance or upgrade;
-
(2)Due to force majeure reasons such as typhoons, earthquakes, floods, lightning, or terrorist attacks;
-
(3)Your mobile device's software and hardware, communication lines, and power supply lines have malfunctioned;
-
(4)You use our services improperly or without our authorization or recognition;
-
(5)Due to computer viruses, trojans, malicious program attacks, network congestion, system instability, system or device failures, communication failures, power failures, bank or government actions, and other reasons;
-
(6)Any other reasons not caused by us.
-
3.We are not responsible for any of the following situations:
-
(1)Due to the loss of your mobile device, deletion without backing up Hippo Social, deletion without backing up your wallet, forgetting without backing up your wallet password, private key, mnemonic, or Keystore, resulting in the loss of the user's digital token;
-
(2)Your digital token is lost due to your self disclosure of wallet passwords, private keys, mnemonics, Keystore, or borrowing, transferring, or authorizing others to use your mobile device or Hippo Social wallet, or not downloading the Hippo Social application through our official channels or using the Hippo Social application in other unsafe ways;
-
(3)The loss of digital tokens caused by Hippo Social due to your misoperation (including but not limited to entering the wrong transfer address or selecting the transfer node server);
-
(4)Your digital token was lost due to your misunderstanding of blockchain technology and misoperation;
-
(5)Due to system lag, instability of the blockchain system, and other reasons, we have encountered deviations in copying user transaction records on the blockchain;
-
4.You shall bear the risks and consequences arising from or related to the following situations:
-
(1)Transactions operated by you using third-party services;
-
(2)You use developer mode; and
-
(3)You use the coin exchange service, and these risks and consequences should be borne by you, the counterparty, and the relevant smart contract issuer.
-
5.You understand that Hippo Social is only used as a tool for managing your digital tokens. We cannot control the quality, safety, or legality of third-party services, the authenticity or accuracy of information, or the ability of the counterparty to fulfill its obligations under the agreement signed with you. You can decide whether to use third-party services on your own. You understand that this transaction and binding contractual relationship are established between you and your counterparty and are not related to us. We remind you to carefully assess the authenticity, legality, and validity of the information provided by third-party services before using them. In addition, all risks arising from your involvement with any third-party exchanges should also be borne by you.

6.You are aware that Hippo Social may provide services to you and your counterparties at the same time, or have any related or other interest related relationships with them. You agree to expressly exempt us from any actual or potential conflicts of interest that may exist in such behavior, and do not use this to claim that we have legal flaws in providing services, nor does it increase our responsibility or duty of care.

7.We do not provide guarantees in the following forms:

(1)Our services will meet all your needs;
-
(2)Any technology, products, services, information, or other materials obtained through our services will meet your expectations;
-
(3)The timeliness, accuracy, completeness, and reliability of the digital token market trading information we capture from third-party exchanges;
-
(4)Your counterparty on Hippo Social will promptly fulfill all obligations in the transaction agreement reached with you.
-
8.In any case, our total liability for breach of contract under this Service Agreement shall not exceed the market value of 0.1 Ether coins; Or 2) SGD 100, whichever is higher.

9.You understand that Hippo Social is only used as a tool for managing digital tokens and displaying transaction information, and we do not provide legal, tax, or investment advice services. You should seek advice from legal, tax, and investment professionals on your own, and we are not responsible for any investment losses, data losses, etc. that you may suffer during the use of our services.

10.You understand that according to the requirements of applicable laws and regulations, we may change our user access standards from time to time, limit the scope and methods of providing services to specific users, etc.

10Other terms

1.Non transferable. Subject to compliance with the terms of this Service Agreement, only you (and not others) have the right to claim compensation from us in connection with the use of the Services. You are not allowed to transfer, trade, or attempt to transfer, trade your rights to the claim. Any such transfer shall be deemed invalid and we shall not be liable or liable to the transferee.

2.intellectual property right. Hippo Social is an application that we have developed and own intellectual property rights to. The intellectual property rights of any content displayed in Hippo Social (including this Service Agreement, announcements, articles, videos, audio, images, files, information, materials, trademarks or logos) belong to us or third-party rights holders. You can only use the Hippo Social application and its content for the purpose of holding and managing digital tokens. Without the prior written consent of us or third-party rights holders (or permission under relevant open source agreements), no one shall use, modify, decompile, copy, publicly distribute, alter, distribute, distribute or publicly publish the aforementioned applications and content (including Hippo Social open source code) without authorization. This Service Agreement shall not be deemed to grant you any intellectual property rights, including the right to use any information, images, user interfaces, logos, trademarks, trade names, network domains, or copyrights related to us or the Services for any purpose.

3.Non Waiver. Any failure by us to enforce this Service Agreement or to assert our rights, claims or causes of action under this Service Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of our right to assert any rights, claims or causes of action against you.

5.Taxation:

(1)The use of services under this Service Agreement does not include any taxes applicable, generated, or related to your use of this service in any jurisdiction(Tax payable).

(2)You are responsible for determining any tax payable and declaring, withholding, collecting, reporting, and remitting the correct tax payable to the appropriate tax authorities. You shall bear all penalties, claims, fines, penalties, and other liabilities arising from the failure to complete or fulfill any of your obligations related to taxes.

(3)We are not responsible for determining any tax payable, nor are we responsible for declaring, withholding, collecting, reporting, and paying the correct tax payable to the appropriate tax authorities.

6.Legal application. This Service Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore and shall be interpreted accordingly.

7.Jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from or related to this Service Agreement (including any issues related to its existence, validity, or termination) shall be resolved by both parties first. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days after the commencement of the settlement procedure, both parties shall submit the dispute to the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (referred to as the "Singapore International Arbitration Centre")SIAC)And by following the arbitration rules in effect at the time of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference into this clause), the final resolution shall be made by arbitration in Singapore. The arbitral tribunal shall consist of one arbitrator appointed by the Chairman of SIAC. The arbitration language shall be English. Each party irrevocably accepts the non exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts to support and assist arbitration proceedings conducted in accordance with the preceding provisions of this paragraph, including providing interim relief (if necessary) before the outcome of such proceedings is determined.

8.Contract (Third Party Rights) Law. The Contracts (Third Party Rights) Act of the Republic of Singapore (Chapter 53B) (as may be amended, amended or supplemented from time to time) shall apply to this Service Agreement. A person who is not a party to this Service Agreement shall not have any rights under this Service Agreement, nor shall they have the right to enforce this Service Agreement.

9.Independence. When any part of this Service Agreement is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by any legislation binding this Service Agreement, it shall only be deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable within that scope (and shall not be further extended). For the avoidance of doubt, the remaining parts of this Service Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

10.Partial invalidity. According to the laws of any jurisdiction, any provision of this Service Agreement deemed illegal, invalid, or unenforceable shall not affect the legality, validity, or enforceability of such provision under the laws of other jurisdictions, nor shall it affect the legality, validity, or enforceability of other provisions of this Service Agreement.

11.Translation of this Service Agreement. Any translation (if any) of this Service Agreement is provided for your convenience only and is not intended to modify the English version of this Service Agreement. If there is a conflict between the English and non English versions of this Service Agreement, the English version shall prevail.

- 1. We will collect your personal information such as mobile device information, operation records, transaction records, wallet addresses, etc.
- To meet your specific service needs, we will collect your personal information, including but not limited to your name, bank card number, phone number, email address, and other information.
- 3.You are aware that your wallet password, private key, mnemonic, and Keystore on the application are not stored or synchronized to our company's servers. Our company does not provide services to retrieve your wallet password, private key, mnemonic, or Keystore.
- 4. We may request to collect more personal information from you so that you can use certain specific features on the application. If you do not agree to provide such personal information, it will be deemed that you have waived the use of specific features of the application.
- 5.Within the scope permitted by laws and regulations, our company may collect and use your personal information in the following situations without obtaining your authorized consent:
- (1) Related to national security and national defense security;
- (2) Related to public safety, public health, and major public interests;
- (3) Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and enforcement of judgments;
- (4) The collected personal information is in the public domain;
- (5) Collect your personal information from legally disclosed information, such as legitimate news reports, government information disclosure, and other channels;
- (6) Necessary for maintaining the security and compliance of services, such as discovering and handling malfunctions in products and services;

- 8. Providing personal information to us is your proactive action, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. However, if you choose to refuse to provide us with the personal information we request, you may not be able to use the app, and we may not be able to contact you or provide you with the products or services you need.
- In some cases, you may provide us with personal information that is not your own. If you provide information to others, you should ensure that you have obtained the consent of the information subject, allowing us to collect the personal information of the information subject, and the information subject agrees that you disclose their personal information to us. - (4) Confirm the correspondence between you and your wallet through the unique serial number of your mobile device;

- (6) Assist you in handling your questions, feedback, complaints, and requests through the wallet address and provided mobile device information;
- (7) Inform you of our products, services, projects, and activities;
- (8) Resolve disputes, investigate any complaints, claims or controversies, or any actual or potential illegal actions;
- (9) Conduct internal audits, data analysis, and research within our company;
- (10) Analyze user behavior by tracking their usage of the application;
- (11) Comply with laws and regulations and regulatory requirements;
- (12) Comply with international laws and regulations regarding security, anti money laundering, or counter-terrorism requirements;
- (13) Fulfill our obligations and contractual terms and conditions; And/or
- (14) Any reasonable purpose related to the aforementioned purposes.
- 2. If you agree, we will use your personal information from time to time for other purposes, such as informing you of the latest activities, discounts, and promotional information launched by our strategic partners or affiliates.
- 3. We provide you with the option of "fingerprint or face login" in Hippo Social's "usage settings", allowing you to easily manage your digital tokens.
- 4. We provide you with the "No Password Payment" option in Hippo Social, where your wallet password is stored in the Keychain/Keystore on your mobile device through secure encryption algorithms. During transactions, your biometric (fingerprint or facial) authentication is called for to quickly complete the payment and signature.
3、 How do you control your information
You have the following independent control rights over your personal information in the application:
- 1. You can import your other wallets into the application or import your wallet from the application into another digital token management wallet by synchronizing the wallet. The application will display you information about importing the wallet.
- 2. You are aware that you can modify your digital token types, transfer funds, and receive payments through the "Assets" section.
- 3. You are aware that in the "Me" section of the application, you can freely choose to perform the following operations:
- (1) In the "Usage Settings" section, you can choose not to enable the "Fingerprint or Face Login" option, which means you can choose not to use Touch ID or Face ID authentication services;
- (2) In the "Submit Feedback" section, you can always provide us with your feedback on application issues and improvement suggestions. We will be happy to communicate with you and actively improve our services.
- 4. You are aware that you can choose not to enable the "no password payment" option, which means you can choose not to call your biometric (fingerprint or facial) authentication during transactions.
- 5. You are aware that you and we do not have control over whether your transaction records are publicly available, as based on the open-source nature of the blockchain trading system, your transaction records are publicly transparent throughout the entire blockchain system.
- 6. Our application will include links to other websites, applications, or smart contracts that are not owned, operated, developed, or maintained by us. These links are provided for your convenience. This policy only applies to our applications. When you use third-party services, you are aware that our Hippo Social Service Agreement and Hippo Social Privacy Policy will no longer apply. We suggest that you carefully read and understand its privacy rules and relevant user service agreements.
- 7. You have the right to request us to update, modify, delete your personal information and/or withdraw your consent to us.
- 8. In order for you to manage the personal information held by us, or to obtain information about how we used (or may have used) your personal information within the year prior to your request, we may charge you a certain fee. If we charge you, we will inform you in advance of the amount charged and fulfill your request after you make the payment. We will do our best to respond to your request within thirty (30) days. If we are unable to respond within thirty (30) days, we will inform you of the specific response time.
- In many cases, we need to obtain your personal information so that we can provide you with the products or services you require. If you choose to refuse to provide us with the personal information we request or withdraw the consent you have given us, we may not be able to continue providing you with the products and services you requested.
4、 We may share or transmit your information
- 1. We will store your personal information for business and legal purposes.
- 2. Without your consent, we will not sell, trade or transfer your personal information to third parties.
- 3. If you agree to our disclosure of your personal information to strategic partners or affiliates, we may disclose your personal information to such entities. These entities will only use your personal information for purposes that you have agreed to.

If for the above purposes, we need to transfer your personal information to any other country, we will obtain your consent and ensure that the recipient of your personal information has the same level of personal information protection measures as us. If there are no personal information protection laws applicable to our relationship with you in such countries or regions, we will sign a legally enforceable agreement with the recipient of the personal information.

This includes analyzing traffic patterns, such as determining the frequency of visits to certain features of a website or mobile application, or using it to understand the information or services that visitors are most interested in. Our application uses network analysis services provided by third-party tools.
6、 How do we protect your information
- If our company ceases to operate, we will cease to collect your personal information and take measures to delete or anonymize the personal information held within a reasonable period of time.
- In order to protect your personal information, our company will take data security technology measures, improve internal compliance level, increase internal employee information security training, and set security access permissions for relevant data to securely protect your privacy information.
- 3. We will send you messages about information security in the Hippo Social "Message Center" and update information on wallet usage and information protection in the Hippo Social "Help Center" section from time to time for your reference.
7、 Protection of minors
We make the following special provisions for the protection of minors under the age of 18:
- 1. Minors should use our company's related services under the guidance of their parents or guardians.
- 2. We suggest that parents and guardians of minors should guide them in using the app after reading this policy, Hippo Social Service Agreement, and our other relevant rules.
- 3. This application will protect the confidentiality and security of personal information of minors in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
8、 Disclaimer
- 1. You confirm that after using third-party services, this policy will no longer apply to the collection, use, disclosure, and transmission of your personal information by such third parties. Our company cannot guarantee that such third parties will take reasonable security measures.
- 2. You will be responsible for the use of third-party services on your own, and you agree that if a third party collects, uses, discloses, and transmits your personal information, resulting in loss or damage to you, you shall not demand that our company bear responsibility.
- 3.You confirm and accept that, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, our company will take reasonable security measures to protect your personal information based on the principles of "based on the status quo", "based on availability", and "no guarantee of flawlessness" under existing technological conditions, in order to avoid information leakage, tampering, or damage. Our company uses wireless methods to transmit data, therefore, we cannot guarantee the privacy and security of data transmitted through wireless networks.
